Install the APK in four steps

  2. Open the file from the download notice or your Files app.
  3. If your phone asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps – only this once.
  4. Tap Install, then Open.

Google Play Protect may offer to scan the app first because it does not come from Google Play. That is normal: the app asks for no permissions and only opens the tool.

  1. Open the app’s page.
  2. Tap Install app on the page – or open the browser menu (⋮) and choose Install app / Add to Home screen.
  3. Confirm with Install. The app now sits on your home screen and in the app drawer.

  1. Open the app’s page in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow).
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen and tap Add.

Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook

Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Safari on Mac

  1. Open the app’s page.
  2. Click Install app on the page or the install icon at the right end of the address bar. In Safari on a Mac: File → Add to Dock.
  3. The app opens in its own window and gets an icon in the Start menu, Dock or launcher.

Questions about the apps

Are the LoschaZ apps really free?

Yes. They cost nothing, have no in-app purchases, no subscription and no watermark. The site is funded by fair advertising below the tools and by people who buy a coffee.

Is it safe to install them?

Yes. These are web apps: your browser installs them from loschazgames.com and runs them in the same protected sandbox as any website. They cannot read your other files and only see what you choose to open in them.

Why are they not in the App Store or Google Play?

They do not need to be. Installing from the page is free for you and for us, works on every device and keeps the apps small. On Android you can also download the app file (APK) right here. Updates arrive without a store, too.

Is the Android app file (APK) safe?

Yes. It is signed by LoschaZ, asks for no permissions and does one thing: it opens the tool from loschazgames.com full screen in your browser. Your files stay on your phone. Android may ask once whether your browser may install apps – the normal question for every app from outside Google Play.

Do I have to update the Android app?

Hardly ever. The app opens the tool from loschazgames.com, so improvements arrive by themselves. A new app file is only needed for a new icon or name, and it installs over the old one.

Do the apps work offline?

Yes, after the first visit with internet. The Video Compressor, for example, keeps everything it needs on your device and compresses videos in airplane mode.

How do I uninstall an app?

Like any other app: on Android press and hold the icon and choose Uninstall, on iPhone press and hold and choose Remove App, on a computer open the app and pick Uninstall from its menu.

Which devices are supported?

Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebooks – with a current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Samsung Internet. In Firefox the tools run in a normal browser tab.
