Four short tips for your resume, your cover letter, the application pack and your privacy.
01 · Resume
Recruiters often scan a resume in under a minute. List your roles in reverse order, most recent first. Under each role, write two to four results rather than a list of duties, with numbers where they are honest and relevant.
In the US and the UK, photos are usually left out. Choose “No photo”, or use your initials for a personal touch.
02 · Cover letter
The cover letter shares the look of your resume and is laid out for window envelopes. The subject line is built from the role and the reference, and you can overwrite it at any time.
Keep it to one page: why this role, what you bring, and a friendly invitation to talk.
03 · Application pack
Many job portals expect a single file. The studio combines your cover page, cover letter, resume and certificates (PDF, JPG or PNG) in the order you choose. Photos of documents are rotated and resized automatically.
Protected PDFs cannot be added, so please use an unprotected copy.
04 · Privacy
Your resume, photo and certificates are processed only in your browser and never uploaded to our server. The browser remembers your details on this device so nothing gets lost; attachments are not stored. “Save project” downloads a file you can open again later.
On a shared computer, choose “Delete all” when you are done.
Yes. Every template, color and PDF download is free, with no account, no trial and no watermark.
The PDFs contain real, selectable text in embedded fonts, including the letter-spaced headings. The Classic template has the simplest structure. We cannot guarantee how a particular system reads a file.
Yes. When the content grows, a second page starts automatically, and headings stay with their first entry.
Documents can be written in English, German or French, independent of the language of this page. Choose under “Document language”.
