What Fuel Studio is built with, where the prices come from, and the licenses that apply.
What we built
LoschaZ designed and wrote Fuel Studio: the workspace, the price lookups and their normalisation across countries, the trip, mileage and electric-car calculations, the fill-up diary with its charts, the German server endpoint and this page.

Data sources
- France: “Prix des carburants en France – Flux instantané”, Ministry of the Economy, via data.economie.gouv.fr, Licence Ouverte 2.0.
- Spain: fuel station prices of the Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y el Reto Demográfico (Geoportal de Gasolineras REST service), reused under the ministry’s terms for public-sector information.
- Austria: E-Control fuel price database (Spritpreisrechner API).
- Germany (as soon as live): Tankerkönig API with data of the Markttransparenzstelle für Kraftstoffe (MTS-K), CC BY 4.0, tankerkoenig.de.
- Place search: Nominatim, © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL.
