Your week
Tap + to add a meal. Every day starts with dinner; add breakfast, lunch or a snack when you need them.
Opening your planner…
Add a recipe
Copy a recipe from a website, an e-book or a message and paste it here, or paste the address of a recipe page. You check every ingredient before it is saved.
Recipe in a printed cookbook?
A link is fetched by our server, which reads only the recipe data on that page and keeps nothing.
Your recipes
Your recipe book. Open a recipe to scale it, put it on a day or edit it.
Opening your planner…
Shopping list
Built from this week’s meals and sorted by aisle. Pantry items and things you have are kept apart.
Opening your planner…
Pantry
Things you always have at home. They never land on the shopping list unless you put them back for one list.
Opening your planner…
Your recipes stay on your device. Recipes, plans, lists and your pantry are saved in this browser only, with no account. A pasted link is fetched by our server, which sends back only the recipe data and keeps nothing.
Save a backup now and then. Clearing your browser data deletes the planner. Settings › Save backup file keeps a copy you can also restore on another device.
How do I use the shopping list app?
Add items
Type an item and choose Add. The aisle is guessed from the name, such as Produce for bananas or Pantry for rice, and you can change it.
Shop
Turn on in-store mode for big checkboxes. Ticked items move to the bottom, and on most phones the screen stays on while it is open.
Clear and reuse
Clear checked removes what you bought. Planned meals from the week fill the same list automatically.
A grocery store shopping list sorted by aisle
Every item lands in one of nine aisles: Produce, Meat & fish, Dairy & eggs, Bakery, Pantry (dry goods), Spices & sauces, Frozen, Drinks and Other. You walk the store once instead of going back for the butter. If your store keeps an item somewhere else, change its aisle and the list remembers that for next time.
Items you type yourself can carry an amount, such as “2 packs” or “1 l”, and they stay on the list from week to week until you tick them off and choose Clear checked. Ingredients from planned recipes are added up instead: two recipes with onions give one onion line with the total, and whole things like onions or cans are rounded up to what you can actually buy.
A shopping list app for Android and iPhone
There is nothing to download from an app store. The list runs in the browser of any current phone, works without internet in the store once it has been opened, and can be added to the home screen. On Android with Chrome, the installed planner also receives recipe links from the share menu.
Pantry: never buy salt twice
The Pantry view keeps the things you always have, such as salt, oil, rice or flour. Recipes may list them, but they stay off the list to buy and wait under “Already at home”. Running low? Put an item back for one list.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to download an app?
No. The shopping list works in the browser of your phone or computer, without an app store or an account. You can add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
Can two people edit the same list?
Not at the same time: the list is saved on one device and not synced. Share it by WhatsApp, the share menu or Copy, and the other person gets the current list as text.
Does the list work without internet in the store?
Yes. After the first visit the page and your list are on your phone, so ticking items off works offline.
Is the shopping list app free?
Yes, with no account, no subscription and no limit on items or lists.
