Writing for Veo 3.1, Kling 4.0, Seedance 2.5 and Gemini Omni
Veo 3.1 and Kling 4.0 can generate sound, so a short sound line pays off. Kling also has a separate negative prompt field, which Prompt Studio fills for you. Seedance 2.5 handles long single shots and reference images, so it rewards a clear description of motion. Gemini Omni works step by step: generate a clip, then send follow-up instructions such as “same shot, but at night” and it edits the previous result. Runway Gen-4.5 is strong on controlled camera work. Switch the model in the builder and the prompt is rewritten to match.
How to write a prompt for image to video
When you animate a photo, the picture already shows the subject and setting. Describe only what should move and how the camera behaves: “Her hair moves gently in the wind, she blinks and smiles slightly, slow push-in, everything else stays still.” Asking for big new actions makes faces and objects warp. The image-to-video prompt collection has examples for portraits, products and landscapes.
Why do AI videos warp or flicker?
Most warping comes from prompts that ask for too much in one clip: several actions, a fast camera and a crowd at the same time. Slow the camera down, keep one main subject, give the action time with a length of 8 to 10 seconds, and describe the light once. If hands or text glitch, frame them out or keep them still.
What happened to Sora prompts?
OpenAI closed the Sora app on 26 April 2026 and the Sora API on 24 September 2026. Sora-style prompts still work as a starting point: the shot, action and camera descriptions carry over to Veo, Kling, Seedance or Gemini Omni. The Sora 2 prompts collection shows how to convert them.

Every prompt in Prompt Studio comes from one of these collections. Each collection explains when to use the prompts, which mistakes to avoid and how to adapt them, with an example picture.
